Aims of the Course:<\/p>\n
To explore the occurrence of incidents and near incidents in radiation oncology, methods of reporting, analysis and management and how incidents can be reduced in the future.
\nTo heighten awareness of the occurrence of incidents and near incidents in radiotherapy
\nTo achieve greater accuracy in radiotherapy through incident prevention
\nTo encourage a culture of openness in relation to incidents<\/p>\n
OBJECTIVES:
\nTo give participants the tools and understanding of how to minimise the risk of incidents occurring
\nTo ensure best practices in risk management aiming to enhance safety in radiotherapy
\nTo enable international collaboration in incident reporting and encourage a culture of reporting incidents<\/p>\n
